Fernando Munoz Mendez

Fernando Munoz Mendez has worked at two companies, Transport for London and AECOM. At Transport for London, they started as a Data Scientist in April 2020, applying data science and machine learning techniques to improve the reliability of the underground system. Fernando used various techniques and technologies such as NLP with Transformers, boosted trees based methods, Databricks and Spark distributed computing, cloud infrastructure championing (Azure), Python & R, and Shiny apps/dashboards. In September 2022, they were promoted to Lead Data Scientist and is currently in this role. Fernando also served as a Senior Manager on secondment from August 2023 to February 2024.
