Joy W. has over a decade of experience in project sponsorship and management, currently serving as the Head of Sponsorship for the London Underground and Elizabeth Line Renewals and Enhancements at Transport for London since September 2012. With a strong leadership role overseeing a team of 30, Joy W. focuses on significant initiatives such as step-free access, capacity improvements, and developments at operational sites. Previous roles include Lead Sponsor for the Surface Technology Programme, Principal Sponsor for HS2, and Senior Sponsor for major Cycle Superhighway projects. Prior to Transport for London, Joy W. worked as a Customer Services Administrator at Revlon and as a Sales Manager at Alliance Boots. Joy W. holds an MSc with distinction in Project and Enterprise Management from University College London and a BA in French and Arabic from Durham University.
