Brent Curran

Brent Curran is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in financial management and reporting across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Finance Project and Reporting for Transport for NSW since July 2012, Brent has successfully realigned finance team structures, ensured compliance with statutory requirements, and implemented training initiatives to improve reporting accuracy. Prior roles include Project Accountant, Senior Manager Budget and Financial Control for Sydney Metro, and Senior Cost Controller for Sydney Light Rail, where Brent demonstrated expertise in financial forecasting, management reporting, and team leadership. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Operations Manager at Glass Film Distribution Pty Ltd and Project Accountant at Colby Packaging Systems. Brent holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce from Swinburne University of Technology, along with several qualifications from TAFE NSW, including an Advanced Diploma of Accounting.
