Kara Clifton has extensive experience in customer strategy, communication, and engagement, currently serving as the Director of Customer Strategy and Engagement at Transport for NSW since May 2019. Throughout career at Transport for NSW, roles have included Director Strategy & Transformation for the Western Sydney Aerotropolis and various senior management positions focused on communication and engagement. Prior to this, positions at Roads and Maritime Services involved leading internal communications efforts. Earlier experience includes roles in event management at Informa Australia and content production at Macquarie Radio Network, accompanied by a background in journalism with Fairfax Media and News Limited. Kara Clifton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media in Writing from Macquarie University, awarded between 2002 and 2004.
