Andrew Hough

Andrew Hough is an experienced project manager currently working at Transport for Greater Manchester since July 2018, where responsibilities include managing two Quality Bus Transit corridors and supporting initiatives for increased cycling and walking through the Bee Network. Previous roles at Transport for Greater Manchester span from Active Travel Officer and Sustainable Journeys Officer to Monitoring and Controls Manager, where management of a team and program tasks such as budget management and risk assessment were key duties. Prior to this, Andrew served as Travel Choices Programme Manager and Sustainable Travel Planner, addressing sustainable travel initiatives at the University of Manchester and various organizations. Andrew's career began at Bury Council as Kerbcraft and Travel Plan Coordinator, focusing on road safety and travel planning in local communities. Andrew holds a degree in Social and Political Studies from The University of Sheffield.
