Gareth Llewellyn

Gareth Llewellyn serves as Chair of Transport Infrastructure Ireland since November 2021 and is a Board Mentor at Criticaleye since March 2021. Gareth also holds the position of Chair of the Remuneration & Nominations Committee at Sage Homes until July 2024. Llewellyn's extensive experience includes being Interim Chair at Scottish Rail Holdings Ltd and Non-Executive Director at Harwich Haven Authority, where Gareth chaired the Remuneration and Nomination Committee. Additionally, Gareth has served as Chief Executive of the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, where Gareth oversaw significant operations with a turnover of £385 million. Llewellyn is also a Fellow at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and has held various executive and non-executive roles across the transport and sustainability sectors. Gareth's educational background includes advanced degrees in Chemistry, Oceanography, and leadership training from Harvard Business School.
