Michael Duffy is an experienced engineering professional specializing in road safety and design. Since March 2019, Michael has served as a Road Safety Inspection Engineer for Transport Infrastructure Ireland in the Northern Region. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Donegal County Council, including Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer, from June 2015 to March 2019. Michael's experience also includes being a Site Based Design Engineer at O'Connor Sutton Cronin OCSC from May 2014 to June 2015, and a Road Design Engineer with the Railway Procurement Agency from August 2012 to May 2014. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Resident Engineer and Graduate Civil Engineer at RPS between July 2007 and July 2009. Michael holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
