Kathryn Lawrence has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kathryn is currently an Associate Project Director for the Kicking Horse Canyon Phase 4 Project at Transportation Investment Corporation. In this role, they provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure successful project delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget. Prior to this, Kathryn was a Senior Project Manager for the same project, where they focused on environmental and archaeological requirements, contract management, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with Indigenous communities.
Before joining Transportation Investment Corporation, Kathryn worked at the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations. Kathryn held the position of Woodlands Manager at BC Timber Sales, where they were responsible for planning, developing, and auctioning timber annually to support the market pricing system in British Columbia. Additionally, Kathryn served as the Indigenous Relations Lead, leading consultation and engagement with Indigenous communities and negotiating strategic agreements aligned with meaningful reconciliation goals. Kathryn also worked as a Practices Forester and a Tenures Forester during their time with BC Timber Sales.
Kathryn's professional experience also includes a role as a Silviculture Forester at Canfor.
