Paul Morcombe

Paul Morcombe has extensive experience in the commercial and contracts field. Paul has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 1990 as a Project Quantity Surveyor at MJ GLEESON PLC. Paul then worked as a Contract Manager at Philipp Holzmann AG, overseeing projects such as the Ertan Hydropower Station. In 1999, they became a Contract Manager at Kajima, managing a depot contract for the Bangkok Metro project. Paul later worked as a Senior Contract Administrator at Philipp Holzmann Ag, overseeing luxury hotel and leisure resort projects. Paul joined MJ GLEESON PLC again in 2001 as a Commercial Manager, working on civil engineering and building projects. In 2003, they became a Contract Administration Manager at Hochtief, managing the Kárahnjúkar Hydroelectric Project in Iceland. From 2005 to 2013, Paul worked at Currie & Brown Inc., first as a Director, and later as a Divisional Director. During this time, they worked on a wide range of projects in multiple sectors, including technology, industrial, pharmaceutical, transportation, and aviation. In 2013, they joined SNC-Lavalin as a Director, and over the years, they held various senior positions, including Senior Director of Commercial & Procurement. Paul'sresponsibilities at SNC-Lavalin included overseeing EPC/M hydro, power delivery, and renewable projects globally. In 2020, they started their own consulting firm, Morcombe Consulting, specializing in commercial, contracts, claims, and disputes. Currently, they hold the position of Commercial Director at the Broadway Subway Project and Executive Director of Commercial & Contracts at Transportation Investment Corporation.

Paul Morcombe earned their Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Construction Law & Arbitration from Robert Gordon University, which they attended from 2016 to 2020. Prior to this, their education history is not specified, but it is known that they have not obtained a degree from Liverpool John Moores University or University College of Estate Management.
