Clifford Harvey

Clifford Harvey is an experienced maritime professional, currently serving as the Director of Investigations - Marine at the Transportation Safety Board of Canada since November 2019, where responsibilities include leading independent safety investigations into maritime incidents and effectively communicating safety findings to stakeholders. Prior to this role, Clifford held various positions at the Canadian Coast Guard, such as Director of Marine Engineering and Manager of Vessel Maintenance, where responsibilities included managing life cycle support for the fleet and overseeing compliance with maintenance standards. Clifford also gained valuable experience at Transport Canada, serving as Fleet Manager for Air and Marine Programs and in roles focused on inspection standards and machinery. A graduate of the Canadian Coast Guard College with a Bachelor of Technology in Marine Engineering, Clifford's career spans several decades, providing extensive expertise in marine operations and safety management.
