Joaquim Balsera García

Joaquim Balsera García has extensive work experience in various government roles. Joaquim served as the Director of Marketing and Corporate Business at Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) from 2015 to present. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director of Marketing at TMB from 2015 to 2020. From 2005 to 2014, they served as the Mayor of Gavà at Ajuntament de Gavà. Before that, they were the Chief of Staff to the Mayor at Ajuntament de Barcelona from 2003 to 2005 and the Chief of Staff to the first Vice Presidency at Diputació de Barcelona in 2003. Joaquim also served as the Chief of Staff to the Mayor at Ajuntament de l'Hospitalet from 1994 to 2003 and Ajuntament de Gavà from 1987 to 1994.

Joaquim Balsera García completed their Executive Master in Public Administration (EMPA) from Esade in the years 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Grado de Derecho from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Additionally, they completed a Màster Universitari en Advocacia from the same institution. Furthermore, Joaquim Balsera García also pursued a Diplomatura in Función Gerencial en las Administraciones Públicas and a Programa de Dirección General in Marketing, both from Esade.
