Vineet Katiyar

Vineet Katiyar has a strong background in underwriting risk, enterprise risk management, and catastrophe modeling. Vineet has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 2008 as a Senior Engineer at AIR Worldwide. In 2013, they joined GeoVera Holdings, Inc. as a Catastrophe Modeler. Later that year, they also joined TransRe, where they held multiple positions, including AVP/Director of Catastrophe Modeling and Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management. Vineet was promoted to Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management in 2019 and currently serves as the VP & Head of Underwriting Risk.

Vineet Katiyar pursued their undergraduate education from 2001 to 2005 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where they obtained a B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering. Vineet then went on to pursue further studies, completing their Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University between 2005 and 2007.
