Amit Hasak

Amit Hasak has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as the Founder/CEO of Transship Corp, a modern-day automated freight forwarder specializing in the shipment of perishable goods and pharmaceuticals. Amit established partnerships with various companies in the industry and successfully shipped products globally. Amit later became the CEO of Transship, where they developed an automated freight forwarding platform utilizing API, blockchain, and document sharing technologies to streamline and speed up the shipping process.

Amit also served as the President/Owner of Hasak Cold Storage, a Public Refrigerated Warehouse that acted as a distribution center for over 100 companies. This USDA approved facility focused on exports, repacking, and order picking.

Prior to that, Amit worked as the Economic Development Director for the Jerusalem Development Authority, where they played a key role in attracting high-tech companies like Intel, Microsoft, and Digital to invest in Jerusalem. Amit promoted incentives and organized events to further develop the city's tech industry.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Finance Analyst for the Israel Foreign Trade Risks Insurance Corp. As part of their role, they analyzed Israeli exporters to determine their eligibility for government guaranteed export insurance and presented qualified exporters for approval in government committees.

Amit Hasak completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Bradley University in the years 1979 to 1983. Amit then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Tel Aviv University from 1987 to 1989.
