Prior to this, Lily worked as a Business and Technology Consultant at 1871 and as a Co-Founder at Transship Corp LLC. Lily also has a strong background in promoting gender equality in the field of computer science through their work as a Founder and Instructor at GirlsWhoCode. Additionally, Lily held managerial positions at Oracle, T-Systems International Gmbh, Dell, and Computer Sciences Corporation. Lily also served as a Sr. Director at Keane, Inc., an IT services firm. Overall, Lily has extensive experience in consulting, sales, and technology, with a focus on leveraging IT investments to drive business outcomes.

Lily Gulik obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from DePaul University, where they attended from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Lane Technical High School from 1982 to 1986, with a focus on Math, Science, and College Prep. In addition to their formal education, Lily Gulik also obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021.
