Gopi Purohit has over 18 years of professional experience in the fields of architecture, planning, and project management. From 2017 to present, Gopi has been a Project Manager at TransSIGHT, where they have been responsible for the analysis, coordination, and facilitation of GTFS feed in the 511 Regional Transit Database, leading the implementation and operations of a multi-modal trip planner, and leading the development and implementation of a GTFS application for BART's trip planner. From 2010 to 2017, Gopi was the 511 Data Team Lead at SAIC, where they were responsible for maintaining the data from 40 Bay Area transit agencies in the 511 Transit database. From 2001 to 2006, Gopi worked as an Architect at Neha Modi and Associate, Mistry Associates, and Vikram Pandya and Associates.

Gopi Purohit completed a Bachelor's degree from Sardar Patel University in Architecture from 1996 to 2001. Gopi then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from San Jose State University from 2005 to 2007.
