Alen Krljic

Alen Krljic is an experienced traffic engineering professional currently serving as Principal of Traffic Optimisation at Transurban since November 2022. Prior to this role, Alen held positions at SMEC from July 2014 to November 2022, including Manager of Transport Planning and Analytics and Associate Traffic and Transport Planner. Alen also worked at Arcadis (formerly Hyder Consulting) in Sydney, Australia, between April 2008 and July 2014 as a Senior Traffic Engineer/Traffic Modeller and Traffic Engineer/Traffic Modeller. Earlier in Alen's career, from June 2000 to January 2008, Alen served as Technical Director and Traffic Engineer at the Municipality of Indjija's Directorate for Civil Infrastructure. Alen Krljic earned a Master's degree in Traffic Engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, from 1994 to 2000.
