Santiago Caicedo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Santiago started their career as a Facilities Engineering Intern at Occidental Petroleum Corporation in 2006. Santiago then worked as an R&D Engineer at Universidad de los Andes from 2007 to 2009. Following that, they served as a Project Management Engineer at Edospina S.A.S. from 2009 to 2010.

In 2010, Santiago joined CEMEX where they held several positions, including Bulk Cement Logistics Manager, Logistics Asset and Project Manager, Logistics Operations Manager, Supply Chain Director, and Regional Supply Chain Director (South, Central America & Caribbean). Santiago achieved notable success in these roles by optimizing sourcing, inventory management, and overall variable costs, resulting in significant savings and working capital reduction.

After leaving CEMEX, Santiago joined Uber in 2017 as a Customer Operations Manager and was responsible for managing customer operations until 2018. Since 2018, they have been serving as the CEO of Transvip Chile.

Santiago Caicedo obtained a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, where they attended from 2002 to 2009.
