Muhammad Bilal Afzal

Muhammad Bilal Afzal, FCA, CIA, currently serves as the Chief Internal Auditor for both Transworld Associates and Transworld Home, where responsibilities include establishing the internal audit function and overseeing governance, risk management, and control reviews. Previously, Muhammad held various leadership roles at PTCL, including Group Head of Audit for Enterprise & Operations, where oversight spanned business and operational audits, as well as compliance and regulatory areas. Muhammad's career at PTCL involved the development and execution of risk-based audit plans and achieving IIA certification compliance. Additional experience includes managerial positions at Allied Bank, overseeing audit operations for multiple branches, and early career work as an Audit Senior at PwC. Muhammad holds an ACA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a Certified Internal Auditor designation from The Institute of Internal Auditors, USA.
