Sheikh Taimur Nawaz

Sheikh Taimur Nawaz has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Project Engineer at ALCATEL PAKISTAN LIMITED. Sheikh Taimur then joined Telenor Pakistan in 2004, where they held the positions of Head of Products and later Head of Mobile Number Potability, responsible for MNP compliance and roll-out of products. In 2012, they joined Zong CMPak Ltd as Deputy Director Products & Services, overseeing product development and management. In 2014, they joined Qualcomm as Business Development for Middle East & Pakistan, focusing on increasing market share for Qualcomm Snapdragon and supporting the launch of compliance project DIRBS. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as General Manager Group Strategy & Marketing at Transworld Associates and then as Vice President Commercial at Transworld Home from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director Marketing at Transworld Associates, where they are responsible for brand custodianship and marketing activities in the consumer market segment for fiber to the home (FTTH).

Sheikh Taimur Nawaz obtained an MBA degree in Sales & Marketing from the Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they studied Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering with a major in Telecommunications at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 1995 to 1999.
