Greg Roberts

Greg Roberts has extensive experience in design technology support and systems administration. Greg started their career as a Technical Support Manager at CAD Assistance Inc., where they provided customer support for MicroStation on multiple platforms. Greg then worked as a MicroStation CAD Coordinator and Senior 3-D Pipe Designer at Wink Engineering, where they developed and implemented MicroStation standards and provided administrative support for MicroStation 95/SE.

Greg later joined TranSystems as a CADD Systems Manager, responsible for developing and maintaining corporate-wide CADD production workspaces and standards for AutoCAD and MicroStation. Greg also provided CADD support, custom program development, training, and research and development.

At HNTB, Greg served as a Senior Technologist and CADD Platform Manager, consulting with internal and external clients to incorporate technology into the firm's design build practice, with a focus on CADD. Greg also assisted in the planning, implementation, and training of CADD technology.

Greg also worked at Black & Veatch Corporation as a Bentley Systems Administrator, responsible for the configuration development and maintenance of Bentley OpenPlant Modeler and ProjectWise managed workspace configurations for the Energy Division.

Before their current role at TranSystems as the Manager of Design Technology Support, Greg worked at Hewlett-Packard, Enterprise Services as an Enterprise Engineering Technology Lead. In this role, they worked with Black & Veatch CIO Office and business units to establish enterprise strategy and direction for multi-tier collaborative plant design systems.

Throughout their career, Greg has gained expertise in a wide range of software and design tools, including Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Civil Information Modeling (CIM) systems. Greg has also demonstrated leadership skills, mentoring team members, defining responsibilities, and providing training.
