Tranxfer is a web-based file transfer service that enables users to send and receive files via virtual mailboxes. The service is available in both cloud and on-premise deployments.Every file uploaded goes through an automatic virus scan and then is encrypted with a key, which is unknown even to the administrators of Tranxfer. A security code isgenerated and sent to the recipient in the form of an SMS or an email to view the file. Once the file is downloaded it will be automatically removed from Tranxfer’s storage. If the file is not downloaded it will be automatically removed after 2 weeks. The integrated download manager of Transxfer enables users to resume downloads that are interrupted in between.Tranxfer was launched in 2013 and is operated from Barcelona, Spain.
