Xiaolan Zhao

Xiaolan Zhao has extensive experience in the biomedical field, currently serving as a Senior Curation Specialist at Intervention Insights since September 2013. Previous roles include Investigator at ArQule from March 2006 to July 2013 and Scientist positions at both Hoffmann-La Roche and BioChem Pharma/Shire Biologics in the early 2000s. Xiaolan Zhao began academic research as a Research Scientist and postdoctoral fellow at UC San Diego and The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on signal transduction of G-protein coupled receptors and the phosphorylation of NMDA receptors, respectively. Education includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology from Northwestern University and an MD from Peking University. Additionally, a pediatric orthopedic residency training was completed at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, affiliated with Peking University School of Medicine.
