Petra van der Kroft

Petra van der Kroft is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in psychology and research. Currently serving as a Basispsycholoog at Trauma Centrum Nederland since December 2023, Petra has been an EMDR practitioner in training at Psychologiepraktijk Grey Matters since June 2015. Previous roles include Central Data Manager at Forensisch centrum Teylingereind from August 2015 to December 2023 and Owner of Samen Gevat, providing thesis guidance and editorial services from November 2012 to March 2016. Additional experience includes working as a Waitress/Bartender at Cafe Restaurant Louis, a Youth Protector at Bureau Jeugdzorg Haaglanden/Zuid-Holland, a PhD student in Forensic Psychiatry at Erasmus Medical Center, and various junior researcher positions at Erasmus University Rotterdam and PTC De Viersprong. Petra holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam (1992-1997) and completed secondary education at Gymnasium Haganum (1985-1992).
