Holly Forman-Patel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience in providing therapeutic services to children, teens, and families since October 2012 at a private practice. Holly employs various therapeutic modalities including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and EMDR. Additionally, Holly has been involved with EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs as a facilitator since April 2018 and previously served in multiple roles at the Fred Finch Youth Center from October 2012 to December 2017, where responsibilities included case management and therapy for transitional age youths dealing with diverse challenges. Holly has held leadership positions within the East Bay chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, including President and Past-President, and has contributed to mental health services in organizations like Bay Area Children First and Contra Costa County Headstart. Holly holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Diego State University.

The mission of Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs, Inc. (HAP) is to build capacity for effective treatment of traumatic stress disorders in underserved communities anywhere in the world. This mission is accomplished through the highest standard of EMDR therapy Basic and Specialty training and developing local Trauma Recovery Network® (TRN®) volunteer groups. Our continuous efforts have positively impacted the lives of many, enabling them to move forward with their lives and be free of the trauma they experienced.
