Despina Papaioannou

Despina Papaioannou is a seasoned professional in airline relations and sales effectiveness with extensive experience in the travel industry. Currently serving as the Director of Airline Relations at Travel Leaders Group since March 2018, Despina has previously held managerial roles at Global Consolidated Services USA, Ltd. and various senior positions at British Airways over an eleven-year tenure, including Director of Sales Distribution and Strategic Accounts Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing substantial revenue streams and channel strategies. Despina holds a CPLD in Leadership Development from the University of the Witwatersrand and a CMS in Management Studies from Oxford Brookes University, complemented by foundational education from LaGuardia Community College.
