Douglas Burrer

Douglas Burrer has a diverse and extensive background in leadership and financial management, spanning military, governmental, and community service sectors. Currently semi-retired since July 2017, Burrer served as Director and Treasurer for Paint Brush Hills Metropolitan District, overseeing a multi-million dollar budget and various operational responsibilities. Prior experience includes a Senior Analyst role at Camber Corporation, where support was provided for multinational military exercises, and leadership positions within Saint Benedict Catholic Church’s Finance Council. Burrer also held significant roles in the US Army, including Battalion Commander, and served as a Senior US Army Exchange Officer with the Australian Defence Force. Education includes multiple advanced degrees in project management and human resources, along with continued professional education.
