Ian Ross

Executive Vice President at Travel Spike

Ian Ross has a comprehensive work experience in the digital marketing and travel industries. Ian started their career as the East Coast Ad Director at InfoWorld from 1991 to 1994. Ian then moved on to Connell Communications, where they served as the Publisher for I-Way magazine and managed a team of 20 in the tech division from 1994 to 1995.

From there, Ian joined Softbank Interactive Marketing as the Regional Vice President, responsible for managing an online ad sales team across multiple cities and generating over $10 million in revenue in 1996 and 1997.

In 1997, they joined Preview Travel/Travelocity as the Vice President of Advertising Sales for the East Coast, where they opened the NY office and significantly increased ad revenue by bringing in new accounts. Ian also played a role in establishing the company's FIRST credit card deal with MasterCard.

Ian then joined Get There/Sabre as the Vice President of Media Sales in 2000, where they built the online media sales model and generated additional revenue streams for the booking engine and travel tools company.

From 2002 to 2006, they worked at The Walt Disney Company as the Senior Director of Eastern Region Ad Sales, managing ad sales teams in NY and Chicago and overseeing advertising and sponsorships for Disney's online properties.

Ian then joined Orbitz Worldwide in 2006 as the Vice President for Partner Marketing, leading a team selling global digital advertising solutions to clients in the Eastern Region, Caribbean, Canada, and Europe.

In 2012, they became the Chief Revenue Officer of ShermansTravel Media, responsible for the strategic leadership of all digital ad products and ad revenue, before joining PROXi Digital as Vice President of Regional Sales in 2012, where they represented a large portfolio of online and mobile properties for digital ad representation.

Most recently, Ian has been working as the Executive Vice President at Travel Spike since 2019, where they have been focused on driving targeted site visits, engagement, bookings, and audience extension for leading travel technology and digital marketing company.

Ian Ross obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Buffalo State University. Ian studied Journalism as their major and pursued a minor concentration in Marketing. The duration of their education and any previous qualifications are not provided.
