Tara Kinnear

Tara Kinnear has a strong background in the insurance industry. Tara has held various roles at different companies throughout their career. Tara started at Royal & SunAlliance in 2000 as an underwriter before moving to Liberty International Underwriters in 2005 in the same role. In 2006, they joined Aviva Canada as a Commercial Lines Supervisor and later became an Assistant Vice President and Regional Auto Manager. In 2015, Tara joined Travelers Canada as the Managing Director, Select - Business Insurance. Tara then transitioned to the role of Managing Director - Small Commercial, Business Insurance before being promoted to their current role as Director, Strategic Initiatives - Business Insurance.

Tara Kinnear obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Red Deer Polytechnic from 1993 to 1995, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In addition to their formal education, Tara Kinnear also obtained a certification as a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional from the Insurance Institute of Canada in October 2004.
