Blake Hyland

Blake Hyland has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. Blake began their career as an Information Specialist at Brigham Young University, where they assisted in launching a website that improved efficiency of daily work operations. In 2020, they joined KPMG US as an Audit Intern, where they assisted with annual audits and reconciliation activities in accordance with the United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for 5+ clients. Blake also communicated directly with clients regarding missing details in their financial statements to mitigate audit risk and assisted a major private company go public. Later that year, they joined Pupford as Head Accountant, where they more than doubled company revenues, cut down on cost inefficiencies related to inventory handling resulting in higher profitability, and assisted in obtaining funding from investors to increase cash flow in the business by 10x. Blake also evaluated company performance and provided suggestions by analyzing company operations, created yearly/monthly forecasts and budgets, and assisted in running company operations and managing inventory. In 2022, they joined TravelPass Group as a Junior Software Engineer.

Blake Hyland attended the University of Utah from 2021 to 2022, where they obtained a Certification in Full Stack Web Development. From 2014 to 2021, they attended Brigham Young University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Accounting. Blake also obtained a Minor in Information Systems from Brigham Young University from 2019 to 2021.
