Luca Sale

Luca Sale has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Most recently, they have been working as the Director of Engineering at TravelPerk since September 2022. Prior to that, from April 2021 to September 2022, Luca served as the Head Of Engineering at OVO. From December 2019 to April 2021, they worked as the Technical Director at Discovery Inc.

Before these roles, Luca had a long and notable tenure at Amazon, starting as a Solutions Architect in June 2014 and eventually becoming the Head of Solutions Architecture, EU from June 2018 to December 2019. During their time at Amazon, they also served as the Manager of Solutions Architects - International from April 2016 to June 2018.

Prior to their role at Amazon, Luca worked for BlackBerry, where they held various positions. From March 2012 to June 2014, they worked as a Developer Relations team leader, organizing seminars and workshops on application development. From May 2008 to August 2010, they served as a NOC System Administrator, responsible for administering the BlackBerry infrastructure in a 24/7 NOC.

Luca's earlier work experience includes a role as a Developer/Consultant at Escape Co.op from February 2007 to March 2008.
