Phil Donnelly

Phil Donnelly is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Travelport. Phil was previously the Chief Talent Officer at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) from April 2015 to June 2019. At BLG, Donnelly reported to the CEO and Managing Partner and operated as a Partner and member of the National Executive Committee and regular participant of the Board of BLG. Phil was responsible for building a world class Talent function, providing integrated people management and development services to partners, associates and business services staff and developing a high performance culture which would enable BLG to become a destination employer within the legal services sector in Canada. Donnelly was also responsible for the Firm's Enterprise transformation and acted as a catalyst for that change and as a thought leader to the Board, CEO and the Executive Committee regarding the transformation of the Firm. Recently, they supported the Board with the CEO succession, specifically in designing the assessment and selection process and providing coaching and counsel to the Board Chair and Board members.

Phil Donnelly has a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from the University of the West of England, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from the University of the West of England, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Manchester Metropolitan University. Phil also has certification from CIPD in FCIPD.
