Shrikanth Mysore has extensive work experience in the field of data science. Shrikanth is currently serving as the Head of Data Science at Travelport since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Magnite as the Head of Data Science from July 2020 to December 2021 and at Rubicon Project in the same role from July 2017 to December 2021. Shrikanth was also the Co-founder and Chief Data Scientist at nToggle, Inc, which was later acquired by The Rubicon Project. Shrikanth played a key role in developing large-scale real-time filtering solutions using Bayesian methods.
Before nToggle, Inc, Shrikanth worked at Jumptap, Inc as a Principal Research Scientist from May 2011 to February 2015. During their tenure, they contributed to the development of science for the mobile ad network pivot from search and developed multi-device user targeting. Shrikanth also worked at Millennial Media as a Principal Research Scientist during the same period, where they developed Bayesian methods for auction pricing.
Prior to Jumptap and Millennial Media, Shrikanth worked at Microsoft as a Researcher from March 2008 to May 2011. Shrikanth also had previous experience at Navic Networks as a Research Scientist, where they developed user-level targeting on cable TV. Navic Networks was later acquired by Microsoft.
Shrikanth's earlier roles include working as a Principal Scientist at Oracle from July 2005 to March 2008 and as a Principal Scientist at ProfitLogic, which was acquired by Oracle. Shrikanth contributed to the development of science for markdown management and promotions pricing software.
Shrikanth Mysore's education history includes a Ph.D. in Operations Research from The University of Alabama (2002-2005). Before that, they earned an MS in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University (2000-2001). Shrikanth completed their undergraduate studies at RV College Of Engineering, where they obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (1995-1999). For their high school education, Shrikanth attended Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Therubali (1993-1995) and Lakshmipat Singhania Public School Jaykaypur (1981-1993), focusing on Mathematics and Physics.
