Andrew Clifford

Andrew Clifford has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Andrew started their career as a Laboratory Attendant at the National Virus Reference Laboratory from 2005 to 2007. Andrew then joined Amgen as a QC Microbiologist in 2008 and worked there until 2015, gaining expertise in QC Microbiology across different areas and routinely interacting with regulatory auditors. Andrew later joined Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as a Quality Assurance Specialist from 2015 to 2018, and then became a Quality Operations Manager from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Andrew is working at Travere Therapeutics, where they initially served as the Senior Manager of Quality & Qualified Person from 2020 to 2022 and is now an Associate Director of Quality Assurance & QP.

Andrew Clifford has a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Microbiology from University College Dublin, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Andrew then pursued an MSc in Biomedical Diagnostics at Dublin City University from 2007 to 2008. Later, in 2018 to 2019, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology from Trinity College Dublin. Prior to their higher education, they attended Belvedere College S.J. from 1991 to 2001.
