Dawn Carlson

Dawn Carlson is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Director of Rare Kidney Disease Educators at Travere Therapeutics since July 2025, where responsibilities include leading a high-performing team, implementing strategic educational programs, and fostering patient empowerment in underserved communities focused on Rare Kidney Diseases such as IgA Nephropathy and FSGS. Previously, from June 2016 to July 2025, Dawn held various roles at Genentech, including Cross Portfolio TAM and Health Equity Ambassador, achieving certification in health equity and managing therapeutic strategies in NeuroImmunology. Earlier positions include CNS Senior Hospital Sales Specialist at UCB and Associate Therapeutic Consultant at LivaNova, among others. Dawn earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2001, actively participating in sorority and leadership activities during the academic tenure.
