Fabian Schmidt

Fabian Schmidt's work experience includes a role as the Head of Medical Affairs Europe at Travere Therapeutics starting in October 2020. Fabian also acted as the Head of Global Medical Affairs at Travere Therapeutics from January 2021 to June 2021. Prior to that, they held various positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including Executive Director of Medical Affairs Launch Excellence and Clinical Trials, Senior Director of International Launch Excellence Medical Affairs, Senior Director Business Unit Lead, Senior Medical Director, Medical Director, and Medical Affairs Manager for Metabolic Disorders. Before joining Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Fabian held positions at Novo Nordisk, including Head of Medical Affairs and National Sales Manager. Fabian began their career at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, where they underwent post-graduate training in pediatrics with a focus on pediatric endocrinology.

Fabian Schmidt completed an Executive MBA program at Kellogg-WHU from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a Promotion degree in Medicine at The Philipp University of Marburg between 1993 and 1999.
