Steve Shuey

Steve Shuey has extensive experience in clinical operations and management. Steve started their career at IDEC Pharmaceuticals in 1999, where they served as a Manager, Clinical Trials Management, overseeing multiple oncology clinical studies. During their time at IDEC Pharmaceuticals, they played a key role in coordinating audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.

In 2003, Steve joined Biogen Idec as a Sr. Manager, Clinical Operations/Clinical Program Leader. In this role, they managed clinical programs and worked closely with the project team to develop clinical trial protocols and implement the clinical development plan. Steve also contributed to the writing of INDs and briefing documents.

Steve continued their career at Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. in 2012, where they served as the Director of Oncology Clinical Operations. Steve held this position until 2016.

From 2016 to 2018, Steve worked at IGNYTA, Inc. as the Director of Clinical Operations, overseeing clinical operations within the company.

Most recently, Steve has been working at Travere Therapeutics since 2018. Steve initially joined as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations and is currently serving as the Executive Director of Clinical Operations. The precise end dates for their roles at Travere Therapeutics have not been provided.
