Wu Gong

Wu Gong is currently working as a Principal Biostatistician at Travere Therapeutics since September 2022. Prior to that, Wu served as a Senior Biostatistician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from June 2020 to September 2022, and as a Biostatistician II from April 2017 to June 2020. Wu also worked as a Healthcare Data Analyst at UMass Medical School from January 2016 to March 2017, as a Biostatistician at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from July 2013 to December 2015, and as a Statistician I at NCI Information Systems, Inc from June 2011 to May 2013. Additionally, Wu had a Data Analyst Internship at Tennessee Department of Health from February 2011 to May 2011, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at Middle Tennessee State University from September 2010 to December 2010.

Wu Gong received a Master of Science in Professional Science with a specialization in Biostatistics from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in 2011. Wu Gong also holds a current certification as a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer from SAS Institute Inc., obtained in 2012, and a SAS Certified Base Programmer certification, obtained in 2011. In 1984 to 1990, Wu Gong attended Fudan University, where they earned an M.D. degree. Additionally, Wu Gong is currently pursuing an ALM degree in Government from Harvard Extension School, with an expected completion date in 2023. Wu Gong has also obtained various certifications in areas such as good clinical practice, social and behavioral research, and responsible conduct of research from the CITI Program, with some obtained in 2021.
