Hector Nieto

Hector Nieto is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public information and press relations. Currently serving as the Public Information Officer for Travis County since October 2017, Hector has previously held key roles, including Traveling Press Secretary for Wendy Davis for Governor, Inc. and Press and Communications Advisor for the Lone Star Project. Notable positions also include State Lead for the Presidential Inaugural Committee and Texas State Director for Obama for America. Hector's early career features significant contributions as Texas Communications Director for Organizing for America and Chief of Staff for Texas State Senator Wendy Davis.
