Gareth Simpson

Gareth Simpson is an experienced supply chain and freight management professional currently serving as the Head of International Freight at Travis Perkins plc since January 2021. In this role, Gareth oversees global freight management, procurement, supply chain operations, and customs compliance across multiple brands. Prior to this, Gareth held the position of International Supply Chain Project Manager at Whitbread, where responsibilities included leading the Global Network Strategy and managing 3PL operations. Gareth's career also includes a significant tenure at Sainsbury's, progressing through roles such as Imports Operations Manager and Supply Chain Analyst, focusing on import/export logistics and supply chain optimization. Earlier experience was gained at Orchard Clothing as Procurement and Inventory Lead. Gareth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from Nottingham Trent University.
