Asad Abdulla

Asad Abdulla has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Asad is currently serving as the Executive Director of Genesis Holdings Pvt. Limited since 2020. Prior to this role, they co-founded and served as the Director of Trax Logistics, a last-mile delivery business specializing in Ecommerce Cash on Delivery services. At Trax Logistics, they developed a successful business plan and secured funding of PKR 100 million, achieving impressive results with over 7000 shipments per day delivered to more than 350 cities and towns within 30 months of operations.

Before their role at Trax Logistics, Asad Abdulla worked at The IBL Group where they held the position of Director & Chief Transformation Officer. Asad'sresponsibilities involved transforming multiple businesses within the group through extensive change management and the implementation of governance frameworks. Asad'sefforts resulted in a significant shift of decision-making power from owner(s) to the boards of the companies.

Asad Abdulla also co-founded mycart.pk, Pakistan's largest ecommerce grocery portal, where they served as the CEO. Asad developed a comprehensive business plan, secured initial seed funding worth PKR 450 million, and successfully operationalized a 24-hour fulfillment center, a delivery fleet, and customer service infrastructure within a short span of time.

Additionally, Asad Abdulla worked at IBL Operations as the Deputy Managing Director, overseeing relationship management, sales operations, and business planning for a diverse portfolio of non-pharmaceutical accounts. Asad played a key role in business development, signing leading brands and contributing approximately PKR 1 billion in sales revenue.

Prior to their role at IBL Operations, Asad Abdulla served as the Chief Executive Officer of United Distributors Pakistan Limited, specializing in agriculture products and services. Asad gained extensive knowledge and understanding of the agriculture sector, leading the company's business development efforts for five years.

At the beginning of their career, Asad Abdulla worked as the Operations Manager at International Franchises Pvt. Limited.
