Sachiel Millien

Sachiel Millien has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. In their current role as Global Head of Market Risk and Middle Office at Traxys Group since October 2019, they are responsible for managing market risks. Prior to that, they worked at Noble Americas Gas & Power for six years as SVP, East Power Basis Trader & Short-term Trading Desk Manager. At Noble, they built the platform for physical power trading and scheduling and managed the physical power business and short-term power trading desk. Before joining Noble, Sachiel was a VP at RBS Sempra Commodities, where they traded short-term financial and physical power and provided market intelligence to other power trading desks. Sachiel also worked at Sempra Energy Trading as a VP, Short-term Trader & 24-hour Desk Manager and at the New York Mercantile Exchange as a Senior Auditor in the Compliance Financial Surveillance Division.

Sachiel Millien obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from York College of the City University of New York from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Accounting and Finance at St. John's University from 1998 to 2000.
