Betsy Gross

Betsy Gross is an Incoming Environmental Intern at TRC Companies, Inc., starting in January 2024, and currently serves as the Hamilton Sustainability Coordinator and Transportation Manager at Hamilton College since February 2022. In these roles, Betsy aids Campus Security with customer service and manages transportation office communications. Additionally, Betsy mentors students aged 6-13 in the Hamilton Utica Mentor Program, fostering confidence and literacy through interactive learning. Previous experience includes a sustainability internship focused on reforestation, website development for sustainability initiatives, and cataloging trees at Hamilton's arboretum. Betsy also worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at YMCA Camp Nellie Huckins and as a Student Laboratory Worker at Cohassett Center for Student Coastal Research, where fieldwork and laboratory analysis of water samples were conducted. Betsy is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Economics at Hamilton College, anticipated to graduate in May 2025.
