Scot Elder

Scot Elder has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Scot currently serves as the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.

Before joining Treace Medical Concepts, Inc., Scot Elder worked at Medtronic for over a decade. Scot held several leadership positions, including Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, Vice President and General Counsel for the Restorative Therapies Group, and Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel.

Earlier in their career, Scot Elder worked at The St. Joe Company as a Senior Legal Counsel.

Scot Elder obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from the University of Utah, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Scot then pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in Legal Studies, General, from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, from 1999 to 2002.
