Treasure Bay, which opened in April 1994, closed following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  The property reopened on June 21, 2006 and features a sophisticated redesign by architect Peter Anderson of VOA Associates, Inc. in Seattle. Treasure Bay was the recipient of the Casino Design Award for Best Architectural Redesign for a Casino Resort in 2008.
