Volunteer Chef at Treasure Coast Food Bank

Bob Benson has extensive culinary experience, currently serving as a Volunteer Chef at both Sarah’s Kitchen of the Treasure Coast since September 2017 and Treasure Coast Food Bank since June 2018. Prior to these roles, Bob was the Former Chef and Co-Owner of Cooks Avenue Catering from January 2018 to June 2019. Bob previously spent nearly three decades at Crowe Horwath LLP, culminating in a position as Retired Partner from March 1987 to February 2016. Educationally, Bob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Pace University - Lubin School of Business.

Treasure Coast Food Bank (TCFB) is the largest hunger relief agency on the Treasure Coast, providing food every week to over 100,000 adults, children, seniors and veterans struggling with hunger in Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Okeechobee Counties. In addition to food distribution, we provide numerous programs that not only solve the immediate problems of hunger, but help individuals and families gain long-term food security.
