Mark Zales has extensive experience in communications and management across various organizations. Currently serving as Communications Officer II for the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners since June 2019, Mark has previously held roles including Communications Officer, Dispatcher at St Lucie County Fire District, and Registrar at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Prior positions also include Admissions Manager at Treatment Management Behavioral Health, Admissions Coordinator at Aid in Recovery, and Admissions Supervisor at Unity Recovery Center. Early in their career, Mark was an Assistant Manager at Joseph's Classic Market and served in the U.S. Coast Guard from July 2005 to May 2010.
