Yao Lu

Yao Lu has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. They started their career at Sun Microsystems as a Senior Software Engineer in 1999 and worked in that role until 2010. They then joined Oracle Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer for a short period before transitioning to Dell as a Principal Software Engineer from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they worked at Ericsson as a Senior Software Engineer for a year. In 2015, they became an Engineering Manager at ZenMarketing for a year before joining Treasure Data. At Treasure Data, they held various leadership positions, including Engineering Manager of Integration, Sr. Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, and currently, they are the Senior Director of Engineering.

Yao Lu completed a course in "Leadership Skills for Women in the Workplace: How to Aim High and Achieve Impact" at Stanford Continuing Studies in 2018. They obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from South Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Beijing Normal University. Additionally, Yao Lu holds certifications in "EXECUTIVE PRESENCE AND INFLUENCE: PERSUASIVE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT" from Emeritus and is a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance.
