Florian Gessner

Florian Gessner is an experienced technology leader with a proven track record in software architecture and development, currently serving as Chief Architect and VP Cloud Platform at TIS since March 2012, where responsibilities include aligning software architecture and owning the architecture roadmap. Prior to TIS, Florian held various roles at SAP from March 2008 to March 2012, contributing to the development of a functional programming language, the first business applications on SAP HANA, and enhancing the Continuous Integration Environment for HANA applications. Florian's career began with an internship at IBM Deutschland GmbH and included a foundational education in Informatics from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, culminating in a Diplom degree.
