James Hanlon

James Hanlon currently serves as the Chief Legal & People Officer at Treatwell since July 2022 and holds the position of Non Executive Director at V&A Dundee. Additionally, James has been a Director and Treasurer at Coventry and Warwickshire Mind since 2020. Previous roles include Head of Legal at Coventry Building Society from 2020 to 2022, and General Counsel & Company Secretary at IKEA from 2012 to 2020, where also served as Head of Legal & Governance for the UK and Ireland. James began legal career as a Barrister at 4 Breams Buildings and 33 Bedford Row, and held positions as a Paralegal at Gala Coral Group Limited and a Legal Assistant at the Government Legal Service. James earned a First Class degree in Law from Nottingham Trent University between 2001 and 2005.
