Brian Liu

Brian Liu, MBA, has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Brian currently holds the position of CFO and VP Finance at Tree Island Steel since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Sr. Director of Procurement, Transportation and Logistics at the same company from April 2021 to July 2023. From January 2018 to March 2021, they served as the Sr. Director of Strategic Procurement and Operations Management. Before joining Tree Island Steel, Brian worked at Vancity, where they held roles such as Manager of Member Solutions, Manager of New Market Strategy, and Senior Consultant in the Business Transformation stream. Brian also has experience working at CIBC as an Associate in TLAP and at Orbital Technologies Inc. / Simba Technologies Inc. as a Senior Computer Scientist and Lead. Brian began their career as a Software Engineer at MDA.

Brian Liu, MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Strategy and Finance from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Brian pursued this degree from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Commerce from The University of British Columbia. Brian was enrolled in this program from 1999 to 2004.
